I am a computer noob and I tried to make my own computer from parts I brought. I manage to get my computer to turn on and successfully install Windows XP pro but then the BSOD appeared when it tried to start windows. I don't know what is wrong and I can't see the BSOD again to get the info I need. Please help me. Here are my parts:

    1)Ultra 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz
    2)AMD Opteron 165 1.8Ghz Dual Core Socket 939 BOX
    3)LiteOn 16xDVD Burner w/blk/white Bezels
    4)Diablo Black Chameleon Optical Mouse
    5)Seagate 320GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G
    6)EVGA GeForce 7900 GS KO 256MB PCIe w/Dual DVI/HDTV

And some sort of ASUS motherboard

Your new to computers and you built your own system? Fearless aren't you! Let's see, where shall I start... "And some sort of ASUS motherboard" What model is it? Does it have on-board video? if it does, remove the GForce, reset the bios to failsafe defaults and try the install of XP once more
