  1. A friend had his computer crash and I am trying to help him. He needs the install disk for the asus p2b mother board. Does anyone have any idea where to find the pci bridge driver? or does a newer version work on this mb? am I confused, maybe I don't need this?

A P2B has an Intel Chipset. You only need the chipset driver for some OS. Download the drivers from the Intel site and install them. The package will determine for itself wether you need to install or not. Other than that you could try the download area at asuscom.de for updated drivers for that motherboard.
