THe Hard Driver i think is the problem.

the yellow LED on the front is flashing. Whatever I do to the computer it wont turn on, so I pulled the power cord out to stop it(the led that was flashing). When I plugged it back in today, it just started flashing again. The computer is off but it still flashes, . instead of turnign on It just flashes this yellow light. Any ideas? i am runing windows Xp home and a 71GB hard driver
it worked fine when changed the hard driver to another hard driver(20GB Windows Xp media center). i pluged the 71GB as slave and it steal wont turn on.
i really need to access that hard drive my entire website data is in there.
PLease if some one can help me

Thanx in advence

Hi Igli and welcome to the Techspot Forum

First its a Hard Drive not a hard driver, from your post I can only guess that the 71GB Hard Drive has failed, either mechanically or electronically.

Suggestions, go to the maufacturers website and download the test tool for the drive in question and test it, sorry to say if the test tool finds it faulty then all your data is gone.

Regards
