Help need software for network?

  1. I have a freind who has a wifi network setup for people who want to use it for a small fee he also has 3 computers that people can use for internet and stuff only problem is people keep changing his setting and downloading programs changing homepage to porn site a stuff like that he asked me about a program that will let the user downlaod work and stuff but when the computer is restarted all that would go away and it would not have any of that? I have not seen a program like that dose any one know of a program that would do something similar to that or just someway to help him. thanks

    Tough to do unless he is very knowledgable about computers, networks, and security settings... You might look at a good Network text. Even the books are not cheap.

    I don't for sure. There is software everywhere for about any task. I doubt that it will be inexpensive, though... You might try some carefully worded Google searches... and many people on this forum will send good suggestions when they get home this evening.

    Unless I'm a sleep, this is trivial; CREATE USER LOGINS like Guest1 Guest2
    and make them all LIMITED Accounts

    then they can't change anything :)

    btw: set a password on each account too, eg login same as password

    thanks for the replys i found a solution i got an app for MS called shared computer toolkit which takes away all use of the computer leaving only what you alowed and when the computer is restarted its as if it was a new computer. also sets a time for how long the user can be on befor it logs out which is displayed on the desktop
