Help Needed...Continuous beeping sound on start-up

Hi Group,
:suspiciou Could you please give me some information how to fix this problem.
When I turn the computer on it makes a continuous beeping sound and stops on the post screen. I also get an error message on the post screen saying “Keyboard error”.
Can someone please help with this matter, Thank you…Mark

Oh and the keyboard is working ok. Tested on another PC! Also when i unplug the keyboard i still get the same bleeping sound.

is ur keyboard plugged in through USB? if so, make sure your BIOS accepts USB keyboard on initial start up

Its got nothing to do with the keyboard. I had it pluged in through the PS2 and USB. Still get the bleeping sound!!!!

Hello! Welcome to TechSpot!

Try clearing the cmos/bios.
Even though the keyboard may work on another system it
could still be having a problem on this system.
Have you tried another keybaord on this system?
You could after all this set bios to ignore keyboard error just to see if you can boot to windows.

I used a Diagnostic post card on the AGP motherboard and I keep getting the same error code. Which is C1? Can someone help me with this error…? “C1”
