Help with External Dolby decoder

I have just bought some YAMAHA TSS-1 speakers.
These speakers have a external amp/decoder.

I have connected the speakers, and the PC to its inputs. There are 2 digital ins, one optical and the other COAX. Since I dont have optical out in the SBLIVE 5.1, I connected this using the mini plug to RCA connection.
I have also connected the fron and rear speakers to the analoge inputs.

Now, this system works fine for games, but the real reason I bought them was for digital DVD. I get nothing but silence when I enable SP-DIF out in my software player. I can play the movie using the 4 channel option, altough that it not why I bought the speakers.

Any help, or suggestions will be GREATLY appreciated

    Thanks all.

I think real S/PDIF out comes with Live!Drive.

Have you Unticked AC-3 decode in Audio HQ/Speakers - Settings applet?
