Help with FB messenger, NOT THE APP

Facebook recently enabled/started end to end encryption & requested a 6 diget code, I entered mine & now on my HP laptop,using Google Chrome it refuses to let me scroll back any farther than March 10. I googled & got this https://www.facebook.com/help/1039542879410863/ but nothing has worked, been trying to fix it for a couple days, any suggestions. On my other computer it works fine, but. Please help

It only allows me to scroll back to March, I need farther back than that

Problem hopefully fixed,had to uninstall/reinstall brower(s).

NOPEonce it asked for the 6 digit code, back to missing messages, no more code, hopefully it work
