Help with possible CiD/Search Bar virus!

Hello. I'd like some assistance with my PC.

I recently have obtained the CiD popup virus and I used Hi-Jack This to clear out some bad links, files and such.

Now, as soon as I got rid of a couple of "Search bar" problems. My Spybot Search and Destroy started acting up.

It kept popping up with a registry entry and such saying that there has been a change.

I looked at the "item" being "changed" and to my surprise I saw a link that looked like this,,

You get my point..

Anyway. Every 90 seconds or so these would pop up and wouldn't stop bugging me.

It would be a different URL any time.

I am 17 years old and know a fair amount of computers.

But if you need anything like the log from my HiJackThis. Please let me know.

Please I hope you can help.

EDIT: I also keep getting something called a CdOnline popping up on my Spybot S&D. Anyone know what that is?

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your system is infected with malware and you`re running an outdated version of HJT.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

before we carry on, download the latest version of hijack this from here and attach your logs as threads as per the instructions here

then complete all of the instructions in the other link that i gave you then we'll carry on sorting your pc out
