Help with problems caused by vista

  1. hi, i got vista home premium and went to install it on my 2nd HDD so i could have xp on my other one, at about 50% through the 1st stage of the installation it came up with and error (it went to a blue screen) and it said something like an uncontrolable error has occured, then it tells me to turn off caching of my bios and try again, i checked my bios and it was already off. i get this error all the time.

    now when i try and boot from my HDD with xp installed it gets to the log in screen but my mouse and keyboard dont work so i cant log in. could someone please help me asap. thankyou

    well, i fixed that and have vista installed, now i cant get it to go on the internet. it wont find my router or anything.

    when i go to manage network connections nothing is in there.
