Anybody think this would be cool? I am talking like what if nVidia and ATI would team with Creative or another comparable company?? Am I weird? ;o)

pros:
for high-end cards so that it doesnt mess the PCIe and PCI slots, and no such thing as my GPU fan is blocking my soundcard PCI slot. it's because im in the situation now.
cons:
for low end video users, they have to fork out to get better sound for which some people don't need.

The Radeon HD series already supports that I believe, but you can only get sound via HDMI or DVI.
I don't think it will ever happen; it will cut into all the companies' profit margins if it did.
