How do I copy music files from X-box to PC?

  1. I have a whole load of mp3 files on my X-box and I want to copy them to my PC. I know I can do it through the line-out on the X-box and just record the music on the computer, but that would take too long. I didnt see any USB ports on the X-box.
    Help please!

    doesnt xbox have an ethernet port? if so, use a crossover cable

    You can't just use a crossover cable. I dont think you can network an xbox and a computer. But dont xbox's use the same ide connector for the hard drive?

    Actually, I believe you can through XLink Kai, because you can access your XBox through XLink. Installing XLink though isn't that easy, if you have no clue about what you are doing. I would not even bother trying....
