How do you update Intel mobo drivers?

  1. I know it sounds stupid but this is the first time Ive ever dealt Intel. Ive always used VIA or nVidia. Im putting a Gigabyte mobo into an eMachine. The mobo has the 845GV chipset. It didnt come with a driver disk and I cant find this model listed on Gigabytes site. Can I use the 845 drivers from Intels site? Do you have to download drivers for each particular chipset? Thanks.

    what is the model # of the motherboard. It should be printed in small letters. Usually around the edge of the motherboard.
