can anyone tell me how much these parts would cost + if they would do the job? ( i want to build a great gaming pc capable of sli + ready for the jump to vista when its available ) asus a8n sli premium socket 939 nvidia nforce4 sli atx amd motherboard, amd athlon 64 x2 4600+ manchester 2000mhz ht2 x512kb l2 cache socket 939 dual core cpu, 4x corsair 512mb ddr400 pc3200 184 pin ram, 2x nvidia geforce 7600gt graphics cards in sli formation, + creative sound blaster audigy 2 zs 24bit 192khz 7.1 channel pci soundcard. so far i have bought a case, 250gb 8mb samsung sp2504c hdd, harman kardon soundsticks II( speakers at £140) 17in flatscreen tft monitor.. my current specs are: amd athlon 64 3000+ processor, asrock k8 upgrade vm800 motherboard, 250gb 8mb samsung sp2504c hdd, 1x 256mb elixir 256mb ddr400 184 pin ram, 1x cd/dvd drive + 1x cd/dvd burner. i currently dont have a graphics card yet ( i bought a geforce 6600le 256mb graphics accelerator but returned it because when i get these other parts it wouldve been made redundant, so i swapped it for the 250gb hdd). if i can fit these parts together to make a gaming pc, i will buy the parts every 1 - 2 weeks until i have everything needed then put it into pc world + have them fit all the parts into the case. would i need any other parts for a gaming pc? i would be greatful for some help...thank you in advance.

They would most certainly do the job; but it'll be pricey. At least $2,000+ from what you've stated so far(more probably). Also, it maybe was just me, but I had a bad experience with the ASUS A8N-SLI Premium. Probably an isolated incident but at least one other person had the exact same problem where IRQ's were messed up and hogged up to 50% of the CPU.

Just a heads up.

go to http://newegg.com and price out the parts, newegg has awsome deals.

Edit: You live in the UK, newegg doesn't ship out side of the states.
But I know there are a bunch of sites that other members know about that are top notch.
