Android's quick settings panel can be accessed with one swipe. You just need to use 2 fingers

You should be able to bring soft buttons back with a swipe up from bottom of screen

General security and the availability of upgrades and patches are an advantage of the iPhone, but to a lesser extent if you have a Nexus phone.

If I was intent on doing anything financial on a smart phone I think I'd buy an Apple. (I currently have neither).
