Goodday!

Have friend who wana setup a small internet corner in his resturant, and i hope to help him set it up.

How to configure a Win 2000 wif limited priviledges .

Like only able to surf the web.

He must not have priviledge to access C Drive Nor Delete any files or Download any files.
All he can do is just to surf the web!

In situations like these I'd recommend a program like Deep Freeze or Clean Slate. These programs basically right to a temp partition anything thats changed on the computer, then restore from the orginal partition when rebooted. So basically they protect the pc from all viruses (current and future), hacking, malicious use, rogue software.

Other than that, you can try and secure the PC through Registry hacks and group policy. JSI Inc has some very useful registry hacks, just search around their site.

You can also load the group policy editor by launching gpedit.msc in the run dialog box.
