How to create a shared folder?

I am having my students, a practical exam, and I want them to upload their answers in a common folder. so I am just stucked on how to create a common/shared folder. if anyone could help that would be great! Thankx

Which version of windows are these and are all the same?

Surely you know to have them saved uniquely (maybe student's name) AND
if they have access to it, then they can READ the answers already stored.

yes the versions are all same (windows 7).
They will be having their own folders. And I want them to upload in a shared folder. later I can download all the files and do the assessment.
