Hi

I bought a new motherboard (Asus Z370 Plus Gaming TUF series) I want to install Windows 7 on it. I insert a USB made by Rufus and the install goes fine, until the "Setup is starting" screen, then I get and error message saying: "A required CD/DVD device driver is missing". I then browse and try to install the USB 3.1 drivers which I downloaded from the Asus website (Note that Asus had made drivers for Windows 7 64 - bit), but I get an error that tells me that it could not install the drivers.

Please help, because I really don't like Windows 10.
I would greatly appreciate anyone with an idea

Thanks a lot! :D

Try to unplug your CD/DVD drive before installing Windows 7. After installing is complete, you can open the device manager to download and install the missing CD/DVD driver.
