I am currently trying to configure Fedora (v14), running in Virtualbox, to print to a Brother network printer on the home network (the host, Win7 PC and the printer are both connected by ethernet to a WiFi router). The printer works fine from several other devices on the system, but Fedora isn't "seeing" the printer over the network (it is connected, has internet etc.)
    Any clues, please?

Just to be clear, all three have IP addresses?

Several issues with Linux Remote Printing. Linux system will need:
    1. Uses CUPS interface, so that component must be installed and configured.
    2. Uses SNMP for discovery, so the Firewall needs a tweak
I'll refer you to this for more ideas
