  1. Hi,
I was able to fix my PC using the following steps.
Your host file has been compromised and the virus has probably loaded thousands of websites in your HKEY_USER folder. Anyway, I tried to post 3 or 4 times, and my posts mysteriously disappear. This is a forum where people help eachother right, or is there a hidden interest in seeing peopel suffer from this annoying virus.
    Anyway, here is the link,
navigate to the bottom and follow the removal instructions.
    Good luck

If your post had been sent, someone would have helped you. We have a set of steps we ask members to use first. They then are asked to attach the logs from the 3 programs. The logs are reviewed. Any further action will depend on what is seen.

Since you have posted this in out Virus and Malware Removal forum, it appear that you already know this. This i a very busy forum just like all the malware forums. There are more people with malware than there are helpers but we do our best.

The first thing we ask is for patience. Since malware removal is an entirely customized process, we check every entry on every log.

FYI: most malware causes the 'redirect' so there is no one 'fix'. The site you left was one page on a forum that was never finalized.

BTW, here's is your thread, with replies: http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic138731.html
Looks like you never left the requested logs.
