How to use my on-board infrared port?

I have an ASUS A7S333 motherboard. I have activated my infrared port on the motherboard but i don't know how to use it(for file and multimedia transfer from PC to mobilephone).Thanks for the tips.

I think you`re probably going to need an Infrared dongle.

The non-USB one that plugs in a special connector on your motherboard.
