Today I decided to turn on an HP Laptop that I had a while. I had stopped using because for some reason whenever I turn it on and it starts loading, it never stops. It just keeps loading and loading and continues on. I tried it now and it's in the same condition as it was before. Could someone help me solve this issue?

A little more detail is required, what do you see on screen when you switch it on.
If you start to tap the F8 key as soon as you hit the power button will it give choices for boot options. If so will it go into safe mode and reach the desktop.
Can you boot into the Bios set up by tapping the F2, F6 or F10 key from switch on. (I can't say which key to use without knowing the model name and number, please provide these details)
Did you get any discs with this PC, if so tell me what they are.
Do you need to save any information off the hard drive?
If you put a windows disc into the CD drive and then reboot will it boot from the disc?
