I have a serious problem!

I have a Toshiba Satellite R20 and my Windows installation is corrupt. I have a Windows Xp Cd and am ready to reformat, but i can't get into the bios. I have no idea how. Do you guys know? It only gets as far as a black screen saying im missing setup files.

Tap F1 at reboot to enter the system setup and change your boot order to CD-Rom
