I have disabled my monitor by mistake

I have disabled my monitor by mistake can anyone help to get it back as the screen is lite but no picture and I can't retrieve it, I have tried unplugging it and still nothing I am basic on computer so make it easy please, I am on WXP Pro if thats any help.

How did you disable the monitor? If you reboot the machine do you see a picture while the PC is starting?

Have you tried a system restore from the recovery disk?

Failing that, try a a repair install from the recovery disk.
