I have lost all search capabilities!?!?

I have lost all of my search engines??? When I go to www.google.com I get some error page and when I try to search from any site (yahoo, msn, etc.) I get "This page cannot be displayed". Does anyone know why this has happened and how to get it back??

i believe there was a virus that did this a while back. it edits your hosts file and redirects those sites to other sites. get an anti virus program and scan your computer. go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ and download/install/run adaware.
also search for your hosts file and open it with notepad or wordpad and see if you see anything mentioning yahoo or google etc.

Make sure your AV is up to date, and do a full and thorough scan

After you do a good system scan, you should clean out all your spyware crap as well ~ Ad Aware\Spybot S&D
