I have sound problems

hello can you help me my computer doesnt have sound and i try to fix it but i couldnt can u help me please

my multimedia audio in mark yellow and i cannot installed because i need the hardware

un-install the sound driver

boot to safe mode & install the sound driver
manually.

when done,boot to normal windows & try
the sound.

but how if i dont have the cd or hardware to installed

please run a dxdiag report.

assuming you're running winXP,
start > run,
at the search box, type "dxdiag" (without the qoute).

when on the directx diagnostic tool properties,
at the lower part of the screen,click save all information.

when done,attach the file to your next post.
