I need advice

Ok, I am a moderate gamer. My specs are as follows

2.0Ghz P-4 @ 2.4
512MB PC 3200
250-watt PSU
80GB Hard Drive
9600xt 128MB

I am ordering a 550 watt-PSU, 3.2Ghz P-4 and 1GB of RAM. I still have money left over and have to get the most out of it. This system has to last me another 8 or so months. Oh and I have $220 left.

How much better will my system be once I order my stuff? I think i should be looking a a pretty good increase

It will be a huge difference. You should be able to play most games at full resolution with all the visuals turned up.
