I think I have Windows 7 need some help-updated

I think i have windows 7 i used the link that has just been put up
i have got the file called (well it's still downloading)
7000.0.081212-1400_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULFRE_EN_DVD.iso.part

providing this is Windows 7, how do you burn a ISO file to DVD

You need a program that can burn .iso files. Burning an ISO isn't done by just burning like it is its own file, an iso contains a directory and file structure in it, its sort of like a .zip but without compression.

Almost any program for burning CDs will burn an iso, but you need to find the option to 'burn image file' or something like that. In Nero 7 and 8 it is Recorder menu -> Burn Image..
CDBurner XP Pro is free, and it will burn iso files too, but I don't have that program in front of me right now so I'm not sure exactly where it is, it should be fairly obvious though if you just look around.

when trying to install win7 i got the message bad image can someone help
and i will be installing to microofts VM (can't remembers full name) can i have some tips on doing this
