I tried fixing something on my pc and im sure i messed up

Hello I recently tried fixing a fps problem on my pc and I got to a part where I used -msconfig to disable some programs and I am pretty sure it messed up my pc not really in huge disaster way but when im in a game and I leave the game my pc starts freezing and slowing down my cpu usage gets to 100% I would thing this is maybe a normal thing but ive had this pc for about half a year and I never had this problem

If it is only a few months old, it may be under warranty - do not do anything which could void your warranty.

Freezing is not normal. Make backup copies of any files you care about - documents, music, photos, etc. You should do this regularly anyway.

Computers are complicated. You have to make a plan and follow it - make notes, etc.

Unsure at this time what the problem really is....malware?...bad driver?...corrupt file?

Run some anti-virus software...including free version of Malwarebytes Anti-malware (free).

Undo whatever you did with msconfig.

Do you get any error messages?

ps You probably should review the manual which came with the system and then spend some time reading up...

Did you try a System Restore Point prior to your messing with msconfig?
