  1. Hi

I have been playing some online games but not sure my PC or internet connection is really up to it

I am in the process of getting a better internet connection, but is there anything I can change on my PC to make it faster?

    Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93GHz 2.93GHz
    Ram 2.0 GB
Windows 7 64 bit professional ervice pack 1
    NVIDIA Geforce 9600 GT

    thanks

Jools I'm no guru but I doubt your cpu or ram need upgrading. That card is pretty dated (Feb 2008) but is newer than mine. From what I've researched I could play some online games "ok" but probably nothing like serious gamers. Sorry, can't compare any titles as I only collect older games (mostly learn software, etc.). If you haven't already, a site like speedtest.net will tell you if your internet is up to snuff.
I'd lean towards replacing your video card. Don't have to spend much to get significant improvement. Others might know more what your mobo can handle vs. what you'll be happy using in newer online games. Good luck.
