for raid, you need drivers. but firstyou need to turn on the raid controller in bios, and then enter the raid configuration utility upon the next reboot where you can set up the array. not all motherboards do it this way, and i'm assuming that you have the raid controller integrated int o the motherboard (not an add-in card). once you get that set up, install the windows drivers. you can then partition and format the volume using disk management.
