IE6 auto-download?

    Why is it when i click a download link that IE6 automatically downloads the file to the temp dir. it dosn't ask me where to save it

    Check your security settings in the "internet options" control panel, make sure you are set to at least medium. What you can also do is right click on the file you want to download and select "Save target as..." but you probably already knew that.

    You can also go through all those security settings if you click "Custom Level..." that way you can change how IE behaves under certain conditions.

    ok, well. It downloads all files exept .zip's fine. .zip's are the only ones it auto-downloads
