Installing F.E.A.R. in Vista!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to install fear in Vista but when the installation begins, it says that it will install the directx 9.0c. but I already have directx 10, so will it uninstall the directx10 and install the 9.0c or no?

    I have installed FEAR Combat in Vista, and it supposedly installed DX 9.0c, but that was not true.

    So go ahead, nothing should happen. I think the game won't install if you don't say "yes". :(

    If I select NO than the game won't install, so I dont know!!! I am just afraid it won't install directx9.0c.
    Has someone installed F.E.A.R. for Vista? If yes, please let me know if it installed directx 9.0c or no. thanks

    It should only be able to replace previous versions of DX. I don't think it's possible for the program to downgrade itself like that.
