Sorry but CPUs aren't a big deal, there are plenty of excellent CPUs to purchase. Where Intel needs to concentrate on is delivering decent GPUs. The market is starving for GPUs, not CPUs.
Yhat's all well and good, but for most practical purposesm you need a CPU to feed a GPU.

And I beg to differ. Having listened to AMD fan boys crow about the virtues of AMD's miraculous return from near bankruptcy for a few years now, versus the evils of Intel, I think it's about damned time that Intel has taken strides to shut them up, or at least level the playing field.
