  1. I need help. I had to return my printer for a new one. It is wireless also. When I try to map the memory card it keeps saying that it is use. I changed the IP and deleted printer but it still remembers the old drive. I spent 2 hours on the phone and no luck. I have no errors and it is trying to connect but they are fighting each other. Any ideas?

brand name/Model number might help here :)

Use a wired connection to the router and then manage the IP like this:
    • set your wireless router to provide DHCP service
    • modify the SSID to anything you like, but don't leave the default name
    • select a channel
    • enable broadcasting of the SSID
    • disable encryption (just for now)
    • save settings and reboot the router
Now, depending upon your printer, use the SETUP feature to locate your SSID

Your printer should connect and then you can use Add Printer to get your computer to find it.

Once this works correctly, you go back to the top of the list shown and ENABLE
    encryption (document the encryption key).

Go back to the Printer Setup and provide the key.
