Is Sager's NP260 a Good Gaming Laptop

I would like to play games from Steam like Skyrim, L4D2, and BF3. I wonder if this computer could run these games at a reasonable setting.

It doesnt have a graphics card other than Intel graphics, so no, it cannot play the latest games well. What is your budget?

Under 1200, I can find a decent gaming notebook for that budget, give me a minute...

Try a couple of these on for size, each one of these will perform pretty well in the games you listed.
I never liked mobile AMD chips, they are slow and eat power like nothing else. Maybe they have changed, but I do not buy laptops with an AMD inside because of past experiences. Other than that, the Y510 is out ;).

Here are some other options:
Lenovo Y510p
The MP7370, MP7352, and MP6652 all fit your price range. The MP7370 and MP7352 are basically equivalent in terms of specifications, but the MP7370 has a 17.3" display while the MP7352 has a 15.6" display.

It is really your choice. Bigger screens generally provide a better gaming experience, so the 17" option is a better choice in my opinion. Plus, it is only $30 more. I would upgrade the option under Hard Disk Drive One to "750GB 7200rpm SATA3 Hybrid Hard Drive with 8GB SSD [+$90.00]" over the regular HDD (default option) since a regular HDD is pretty slow by itself. That will bring you to about $1200.
