Is there a way to resize mdf files?

  1. I have several mdf files that I need to burn onto disc they are just a tad bit bigger than a CD.. is there a program or something so I can shrink them down to the 700 meg limit?

    The MDF filetype I am referring to is the one that is like an ISO file I have one for example that is 708 MB and the disc only is 702 mb and several others that are bigger but under 800 and I really don't want to waste a dvdr for that

    7-zip, or use another burning utility that'll properly compress and image the file.
