ok i have had my pc for a lil over a year
amd 64 939 3700+
ocz 1 gb ram
maxtor 250gb hdd
dfi lanparty nf4 mobo
his hightech x800xl video card
ultra x-connect power supply
so my computer has always had little issues here and there but the other day when i started battlefield 2 i got BSOD which im used to actually but this time my computer didnt boot back up and i couldnt get it to start up and i was getting a buzzing noise from inside my pc and i took off my side panel and found it was my pwr supply that was buzzing so i shut the psu off and the noise stopped but when i try to turn my pc on again the light turns on but it doesnt start so i turn off the psu again and try again and sometimes it works but when i have my pc on it is sluggish compared to its old dominant self....i got all my comonents from newegg except the psu i got from tiger direct and it is still under warranty but i was wondering if i RMA my psu will they tell me it still works? because sometimes it does but idk how well......... has my psu crapped out? any help would be appreciative
p.s. my buddy told me i might have something stuck in the psu but ive inspected that and i dont think thats it
thanx
