(for future reference if problem may occur)

If it is a store bought computer like a DELL, HP or Sony. Give the model number, and serial number or Service Tag number.

If the computer was made from scratch, open the case and look at the motherboard. There should be a model number located between the PCI slots, near the center of the motherboard

Free utility programs, such as CPU-Z, can tell you the motherboard brand and model among other things. This motherboard info is more helpful for custom made PCs and a little less so for Dell, HP, etc. For power supply information you will have to open the case and look at the sticker on the side of the power supply for the brand, model, wattage and amps.

For graphic card info you can go to Start > Run and type in dxdiag and go to the Display tab. If you save the report, dxdiag will also give you a bunch of other information including your optical drives brands and models and audio device.
