Keep Restarting

Hi to everyone,

My windows xp keep on restarting unexpectedly. I get an error message that says 'windows must restart because the Remote Procedure Call (PRC) service terminated unexpectedly.' and it gives me 60 seconds to save stuff before it restarts. When windows loads up. It would restart again on its own.

Please boot your computer in safe mode, by pressing F8 once your computer completes POST (i.e. Power On Self Test); once booted in safe mode go to Control Panel, then to Administrative Tools, and open Event Viewer. Review all the recent logs carefully; the ones with error or warnings carry a red and yellow tag respectively. If you can provide us with the Event ID # along with details which were logged we will be in better position to advise you. Regards
