Keeping your computer running good

Hi @bazz2004 Sorry if I'm starting to grate on you. Maybe if you leave your big Ego at the door and join the other members who give it their best shot and have been a member here on TS forever, TS will be a better help forum. I have yet seen where a member here on TS has been to stupid to solve their issue by following suggestions given them by members wanting to help. My father once told me "There are no stupid questions son; only stupid people. Then I became a father and understood what he meant.
Here's a link with silly questions but not stupid. :DHave a good day @bazz2004 ;) PS I try to ignore comments like yours. Less stress on this old man.

Actually, I was trying hard to be diplomatic holdum323. I edited the post several times before posting to reduce the sting. You are running around making lots of noise in an emptying room. I don’t remember how long I have been on Techspot but it a very long time.

Actually @bazz2004 I could care less what you think! If you want a flame war, try starting one with someone else, because it ain't going to happen with me. Try uniting us and not dividing us here on TS. The world is divided enough and we don't need that here on TS. I have seen very few replies from you, offering TS members solutions to their issues! Enough said. No I did not edit my reply several times.:D
PS It doesn't matter how long you have been here on TS. What matters is the quality of your replies . I have only been here a few months and I have 221 likes and 903 posts. As long as the staff allows me to be a member here, I'll give each thread I reply to "My best Shot" and offer suggestions I have learned from others to help them solve their issues. That's my hobby and I enjoy doing this!

I've spent the last 21 years learning how to keep my computer working nicely.
It works nicely.
Some want something for nothing.
It doesn't work like that with computer usage.
& it constantly changes.
When people with experience try to help you keep your attitude to yourself & try what they suggest.
If you are asking for help it shows you don't know what you are doing to start with.
Learn to use Google.
With proper search terms.
I could expand on this thread.
But won't.

I'm wondering exactly what the point of this thread actually was. To tell us how well your computer runs?

To let us know Google exists?

It's good you're done ranting. I have no need for your "pretend help", I don't care if your computer runs great, as I have 7, and they're all just fine, thank you very much.

And BTW, if I want an answer from you about anything, I'll ask. I wouldn't hold your breath.waiting for that to happen.

FAR too much emotional content in this thread for my $$. Offer your contribution and allow others to do the same. Last time I looked Techspot is not Facebook nor Twitter so stop looking for "friends".

I actually think you're the one trying to start a flame war. I've read most all your posts. All they amount to is this.

Straddling both sides of an issue and wasting space in threads while you're at it. You don't really have anything of your own to say. You merely adapt a pro and con from prior posts, and then blather on spouting nonsewnse. As I've told you before, I'd rather have a Web-bot AI as a member, than you.

And the rest of your time and effort, is spent shamelessly trying to brown nose the staff.

If you've garnered 200+ likes, I guess it's true what Lincoln (supposedly) said, ":You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time". I'm just not one of the fooled, and never will be.

@jobeard As far as I'm concerned JB, I think they should give the MMPI to prospective members, before they inflict them on the rest of us.

The best way is to check your comp temps, clean your computer from inside like blow dust away. Secondly, clean registry of your pc, update drivers to most recent ones and last not least remove un-necessary applications from system tray of your computer.

The ONE time I used a registry cleaner, the machine got so fouled I had to resort to a System Restore Point. Haven't used one again in years.
