he vista i hav on lappy is x64 but i shda put on x32 am i able 2 put x32 over top of x64 ??

AFAIK you can use the 64-bit key to install a 32-bit version, but not as an "upgrade" - you have to reformat.

I'm not so sure about the legality of that.. The license sticker does say "Vista 64-bit", doesn't it?
