I got a new HP Pavillion a1610n Media Center PC which Hard Drive I formated, partitioned and installed Windows XP Pro OS on partition D to dual boot with Windows Vista that I installed on partition C. When I boot to Windows Vista everithing works perfectly, but as for Win XP it was a mess. Since I had no drivers to installed I had to do an Internet search and managed to get the drivers for graphics and sound which are working, but I cannot conect to the Internet, though I installed the recomended (NVIDIA nForce)driver for windows xp.

The device manager lists 3 other devices missing:
.Other PCI Bridge Device
.PCI Simple Communications Controller
.Unknown Device
I forgot to mention that I did not find any drivers I needed for this mobo on the HP, nor the ASUS webpages.
Any help will be deeply appreciated,
Thanks in advance.

I managed to download (from a site other than hp.com) and install the LAN driver and it is now working, but I'm still left with the PCI Bridge Device driver and the PCI Simple Communication Controller driver (likely to be the modem driver) which I have not been able to locate on the Internet.
Please, someone HELP me,
Thanks

The OEM CD that came with the system will have the drivers you need.
Your problem is to determine the actual NAMES of the missing drivers.
Once you have them, search the CD for the name w/o the extension,
eg 3com905x.sys --> search for 3com905x
