You require a COA key to legally run Windows on your computer, but also to re-install or Repair system files.
Usually the label is stuck to the side of you computer.
But it can be obtained by software (run from inside Windows)

    Keyfinder 1.06

    License: Freeware
    Legal: Yes
    Requires: Win All

piracy is illegal and not condoned on techspot. Either purchase a legitimate copy or use an open source OS.
