    My laptop display went completely white. The computer itself seems to be running. What's the problem?

    Could be any number of problems, including backlight failure or an inverter failure.

    Is it still under warranty, then getting it replaced would be your best bet, otherwise have a look around for laptop repair sites, most charge upwards of £160 though.
