Laptop Modem Board

I am trying to install a modem board on a compaq armada 7800. Everything is great until I get to the remove keyboard assembly part. It says to remove the label on the top of keypad then remove the screws underneath. From looking at it (from every possible angle) it does not appear to be a removeable item. Looks like formed plastic with a plastic label. Can anyone shed light on this for me? I'm perplex as to how remove these two hidden screws and complete this installation. Series 2890B
