I have already finished my backups. I am finished scanning with SeaTools. The results are: SMART- Pass, Short Drive Self Test- Pass, Long Drive Self Test- Fail, Short Generic- Pass, and Long Generic- Fail...
I'm not sure what a failed long generic test is, but I managed to fix the problem that involves running programs. Now my only problem is the internet, and after I turned it on today, it reads:
    " Connection Status: Unknown

The dependency service or group failed to start."

What does a failed long generic and long drive self test mean?

Usually this means your drive is corrupt...:(

Haha, I was kinda expecting that... So I should get a new hard drive? If so, after putting it into the laptop, do I just put in my Toshiba recovery CD and let it install? And what brand of hard drive do you suggest I get? How large in memory do you suggest I get? And what is the cost if I get it at let's say... Fry's Electronics?

I don't know about Fry's Electronics, but at Best Buy, you can pick up a nice Wetern Digital for around $100-$130 with 320GB capacity. I can't really recommend a size because I don't know what you have currently or what you need, but on average, 250-320GB should be more than enough (at least for me, I have 100GB, and it's plenty for what I do). Once installed, pop in your recovery disk, and follow the prompts...;)
