My sound on my laptop will frequently stop working when I close my laptop or put it to sleep. When I check in device manager, the audio driver seem to be missing. I've tried manually downloading a driver, uninstalling it, upgrading it and nothing seems to fix the issue. Running the troubleshooter just reinstalls a generic audio driver.I have to restart the machine every time to get it to work again, it's been happening over a year. It's not every time but at least twice a week, any thoughts?
