Latest IE 6 security updates screwing up active content

I installed the latest security updates from Microsoft and it seems these new updates are interfering with any multimedia content in webpages. Before, flash-animation, audio, and video executed without a hitch in my browser, but now everything's very choppy and out of sync and keeps skipping or locking up.

Uninstalling the updates fixes the problem. I guess I should keep my system up to date, but how do I get around the glitches that result?

Do you know exactly what the updates were ? If so,you could do a search for any "known issues".Does the problem occur just with IE,or does it happen with much better browsers as well ? - http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ - http://www.opera.com/
