LED Screen cable broken

The Machine is : Compaq presario Model1247 Laptop
The problem is the little narrow cable with 6 wires is broken.
How does one replace this cable? I can not see how to open
the Led housing no screws ? Can this cable be replaced ?

It probably comes with the LED housing so you have to replace the whole thing.

The answer

Well I have the answer; from another web form a person from England had
answer Yes the cable can be replaced.
how to remove the LED housing is : there are four rubber bumper legs
on the face of the LED screen housing. Remove the rubber bumpers
and there are screws under the bumpers. Remove the screws and the housing
will split and therefor one can get to the cable plug in to the LED.
