  1. LG has released a teaser video for its upcoming October 1st New York event that briefly hints at the South Korean company’s rumored dual-display smartphone, the V10. LG certainly isn’t revealing too much about the new device in the 15-second video, which you can watch below, although the actress' restyled bangs seem to be referencing the camera/secondary screen combo at the top part of the phone’s display.

The V10’s dual-display doesn’t mean that it will have one screen at the front and one at the back like the Yotaphone 2, instead it refers to the phone’s small, right justified secondary screen that sits above the main display. This will supposedly be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note’s second display which shows app icons and extra details, depending on the open application, according to Engadget. Samsung’s Edge series isn’t its first foray into using secondary displays; the company also implemented a similar feature in it 2010 Continuum smartphone that featured a ticker placed at the bottom of the device.

Prolific leaker Evan Blass, who first revealed the V10 name, has claimed LG’s new phone will feature a 5.7-inch quad HD screen, a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (with microSD card support), an integrated fingerprint sensor, a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing version. Blass added that the V10 will be released sometime next month.

With only a 4 percent share of the global smartphone market, LG has fallen behind the likes of Huawei, ZTE and Xiaomi in recent times. The company will likely be hoping that consumers see the secondary ticker as an attractive feature of the V10, and that it will help the phone compete against national-rivals Samsung and its Edge series.

Almost convinced, if it wasn't for the haircut.

That hair... I hope she can get her money back then change her hairdresser.
I wonder if the blower will be an all plastic affair like the G4. People nowadays seem to have an aversion to plastic devices in the high end division and considering what they cost I can't say I blame them. If I had to pay that price for a phone I'd want the thing made out of titanium, platinum, gold and pig iron... and that's only the screen.
  5. Please explain what the hairstyle / haircutting has in common with a smartphone. Please.
